For LTL- Truck Deliveries:
The terminal will call you to set up the delivery date and time, they will meet you curbside to accept the delivery. Please note** if any visible damage of the pallet or box- carton, please take photos of the BOXES and or cartons before opening. *****MUST NOTE ON THE PROOF OF DELIVERY ( paperwork that you sign to accept delivery) ANY DAMAGES TO BOX OR MERCHANDISE.*******
( Sometime the boxes can be bent and items not be damaged at all, please do not automatically refuse because box is damaged, please open and inspect items)
If your item arrives damaged,
1 please call us immediately 866 610 0481 while the delivery team is on site,
3 photos of the damage to info@theclassycottage.com.
Once the 3 steps have been taken
Per our terms and conditions we will determine if a Furniture Tech can make repairs on site, or we will send out a replacement.

For White Glove Deliveries:
The terminal will call you to set up the delivery date and time, take item in your home, room of choice, unpackage, and allow for your inspection. If you see any damages on boxing, please take photos of the BOXES and or cartons before opening.
( Sometime the boxes can be bent and items not be damaged at all, please do not automatically refuse because box is damaged, please allow the delivery team to proceed with opening boxing )
If your item arrives damaged, please call us immediately 866 610 0481, and send photos of the box, and item damage, to to info@theclassycottage.com with your order number in the subject line.
***If box OR item arrives damaged, ( which would be a FREIGHT DAMAGE and in no way fault of The Classy Cottage or Manufacturers shipping or production facility) by purchasing from The Classy Cottage.
1 I agree to make NOTE of THIS on the Proof of Delivery and OPEN and INSPECT the item while driver is on my property
2 Call us 866-610-0481 while the delivery team is inside
3 Send photos of the issue to info@theclassycottage.com
4 Take photo of the signed Bill of Lading that notates the damage and email to info@theclassycottage.com
(Failure to do 1 2 3 and 4 , by signing the legal Proof of Delivery, without damage notation, allows customer to take possession of item with no recourse of filing claim)
Per our terms and conditions if all above steps have been taken (1, 2, 3 and 4), once we determine if a on site repair can be made, we will send a Furniture Tech out to make repairs, if we determine item is beyond repair and steps 1-4 have been followed we will send out a replacement.
